AstroInfra — data pipeline

How frames get from the garden to the NAS and back out as finished images — Syncthing, TrueNAS, scheduled cleanup and config backups.

The full write-up is in preparation. This page is a short preview for now.

The acquisition PC at the mount writes every frame into a per-target, per-night folder structure. Syncthing ships it send-only to a TrueNAS share that is the single source of truth; a scheduled task on the acquisition PC keeps 14 nights locally once they are confirmed on the NAS. Calibration frames are sorted by gain, offset and sensor temperature into a master library, and processing results flow back into processed, gallery and archive folders.
